Compliance program

Our written compliance program is designed to comply with the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, applicable state money transmission laws, and the regulations of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). It includes:

• A designated compliance officer with responsibility for the program
• Customer Identification (CIP) and ongoing customer due diligence (CDD)
• Sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) screening
• Risk-based transaction monitoring and case management
• Suspicious activity reporting (SARs) and currency transaction reporting where applicable
• Recordkeeping for the periods required by U.S. law (generally five years minimum)
• Periodic independent testing of the program
• Initial and ongoing personnel training

Customer protection

• Custodial digital assets are held in segregated wallets identified to customer accounts in our books and records.
• We do not commingle customer assets with our operational treasury and we do not lend out customer assets.
• Withdrawals are subject to internal multi-party approval controls.
• We do not offer products that we are not licensed to offer in your jurisdiction.

How to file a complaint

Customers have the right to file a complaint about a financial service provider. You may contact our compliance team at admin@springlightllc.com, the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, or the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, depending on the nature of your concern.
